New HQ for IT solutions provider TikitTFB

TikitTFB's new Offices

NEW LOCATION: Outside TikitTFB’s new office at 1590 Parkway, Solent Business Park, Whiteley, are, from left, Andrew Saunders of ODT Business Interiors, Russell Mogridge of Hughes Ellard, Adrian Jones, TikitTFB’s Product and Development Director, and Simon Hill, TikitTFB’s Managing Director.

An expanding provider of leading IT solutions to the legal market in the UK has relocated within Hampshire to larger premises following a £120,000 office refit by ODT Business Interiors.

TikitTFB, a software supplier to more than 600 firms, signed a 10-year lease on a two-storey detached 5,000 sq ft (464 sq m) office at 1590 Parkway, Solent Business Park, Whiteley, near Southampton.

The company is part of London-based Tikit Group plc, which is listed on the Alternative Stock Market and is a leading independent provider to the legal and accounting professions in Europe, the USA and Canada, as well as the UK.

The office refit at 1590 Parkway was carried out by ODT Business Interiors, which itself moved into the 2,894 sq ft (269 sq m) ground floor at two-storey 1580 Parkway, which is next door to TikitTFB, two months ago.

Less than 50 metres away from TikitTFB and ODT Business Interiors, regional commercial property consultancy Hughes Ellard and joint agent King Sturge arranged a 10-year lease on 1490 Parkway, a 5,000 sq ft (464 sq m) for Matchtech Group Plc, a UK Top-20 recruitment company. The office is occupied by two of Matchtech’s new trading brands, Barclay Meade and Alderwood Education, and was also fitted out by ODT Business Interiors.

Hughes Ellard acted as joint agent with King Sturge for the landlord, Goodman, in what was the third letting in the locality in as many months on behalf of the global property group.

The TikitTFB letting, at £80,000 a year, is the latest company to move into the park, which is one of the South’s largest, with more than 100,000 sq ft (9,290 sq m) filled in the past eight months alone.

More than 50 staff were moving into the new TikitTFB premises this month (February) from a smaller office at Kingdom Business Park in Segensworth East, less than half a mile away.

Russell Mogridge, a director at Hughes Ellard, which has offices in Fareham and Southampton, said:

“The office market at the park has taken off, with more than 100,000 sq ft filled in the past eight months alone. TikitTFB is a classic example of a high-calibre leader in its field attracted to blue-chip Solent Business Park because of its location and reputation as a vibrant epicentre of the professional services sector in the Solent region.”

Founded in 1976, TikitTFB provides software and services to over 600 law firms in the UK and is one of the leading suppliers in the market. Their award-winning case and practice management system, Partner for Windows, is a complete practice management system designed to manage the everyday jobs of the modern law firm, including all desktop, accounts and case management functions.

In 2008, they joined the Tikit Group plc, and together they serve 90 of the top 100 law firms in the UK and over 1,000 firms worldwide.

Simon Hill, Managing Director, TikitTFB, said:

“TikitTFB combines in-depth knowledge of the business needs of legal firms with a unique capability to plan, implement, integrate and support virtually all of the IT requirements of a modern legal practice. Our new office will be central to our strategic development.”

He added: “TikitTFB sets the standard for excellence in technology solutions for the legal market. Our solutions are the combination of specialist technology, unmatched domain expertise and ongoing customer service."

“With continued growth on the back of demand we anticipate hiring more software developers locally. Our new office will be the nerve centre of operations, providing support to clients of the Group in the UK and globally.”

Occupiers at Solent Business Park include Zurich, Matchtech Group Plc, National Air Traffic Services, defence companies Northrop Grumman and Chemring, ITV Meridian and St James Place Wealth Management.

Subsequent to the TikitTFB letting, Goodman has sold six buildings at Solent Business Park, including 1590 Parkway, to COIF Charities Property Fund. Hughes Ellard and King Sturge have been Goodman’s joint agents on the three latest deals.
